Alvin, Simon and Theodore are household names around the world as the mischievous members of a Grammy-winning ensemble that has sold more than 43 million albums. Since first scurrying into the charts in 1958, Alvin & The Chipmunks have put their trademark spin on many of music’s most popular rock, pop, country and standard songs, the best of which have been digitally remastered for an expanded reissue of Greatest Hits: Still Squeaky After All These Years, to be released by Capitol/EMI on August 18. On the same date, Capitol/EMI will release the perennial holiday favorite, Christmas With The Chipmunks, also remastered and presented in a new eye-catching CD package and digitally.

As 20th Century Fox prepares for the December 14 release of The Chipmunks’ new big screen adventure, Capitol/EMI’s hit and holiday collections will help to get fans squeaked up and ready for the fun.

Christmas With The Chipmunks includes such favorites as “Rudolph The Red-Nosed Reindeer,” “Frosty The Snowman,” “Jingle Bells,” the original version of the classic hit “The Chipmunk Song (Christmas Don’t Be Late),” and a newly-added version of the song featuring Canned Heat.
